no words: 10.17.20

I knew that when I first met the dynamic Mother of the Bride, Lisa, in June 2019, this wedding was going to be spectacular. She and her daughter knew exactly what they wanted for Jenna and Max’s 10.17.2020 wedding, and they weren’t going to settle for anything less. Then, as with so many couples getting married in 2020, plans came to a screeching halt as we were faced with a global pandemic. Plans were changed, tears were shed, decisions were made, then remade, then changed again. The plan was now to stay with their original date with 50 of their closest friends and family.

When everything is so complicated these days, this remarkable vendor team made all of this come together with seemingly little effort. I’m still enamored by our chandelier dripping in floral, and that breathtaking arrangement hanging over the card table by the oh so talented team at Life in Bloom. The warmth you see emanating in the photos below provided to you by the aforementioned floral, dramatic lighting and hanging edison bulbs by MDM Entertainment, strong sounds of the Chicago Players, cake by ECBG Cake Studio, catering by the ever delightful Entertaining Company, the talented photography of Tim Tab Studios, and the love of this family.

There are no words to describe how perfect this night was, and in the midst of a pandemic, nobody settled for anything less.

Event Details: Ceremony, cocktails and reception with band for 50 guests.
